AVICORE is an aviation intelligence platform built specifically for East African pilots, operators, flight schools and regulators. It combines live airstrip intelligence, community pilot reporting, a digital pilot passport and an AI safety-scoring engine into one network.
Which airstrips does AVICORE cover?+
AVICORE covers key East African airstrips including Wilson Airport (Nairobi), Keekorok, Ol Kiombo, Talek, Kichwa Tembo, Mara Serena and Musiara/Governors' in the Masai Mara, plus Amboseli, Nanyuki, Lewa, Diani/Ukunda, Malindi, Lamu/Manda, Kisumu, Eldoret, Mombasa, Lodwar and Lokichoggio — with more being added.
Is AVICORE only for Kenya?+
AVICORE launches in Kenya and is designed to expand across East Africa. The platform is built for KCAA regulatory requirements but architected to accommodate multiple African aviation authorities.

What is the AVICORE safety score?+
The AVICORE safety score is a 0–100 deterministic AI assessment for each airstrip. It factors in runway length and surface, density altitude (computed from elevation, temperature and pressure), current weather and recent community reports. It is always explainable — never a black box.
Does AVICORE work offline and on mobile?+
AVICORE is mobile-first and built for the realities of East African connectivity. The web app works on any modern phone or laptop, and offline-first capabilities are on the roadmap for the dedicated pilot assistant app.
How does community reporting work?+
Pilots submit reports — runway condition, fuel, wildlife, security, weather or hazards. Each report is moderated, then surfaced on the map and feed and factored into the airstrip's live safety score, so the network gets smarter with every flight.
